DIY American Girl Doll African Drum

 

Hello everybody!  Can you believe July is almost over?  This summer has been a whirlwind, at least for me!

Sooo… here’s a craft for y’all today!  An AG doll size African drum!  Here’s how you do it:

1.Gather your supplies!

You’ll need:

-a pair of scissors

-a piece of brown paper

-a small can

-tape

-a deflated balloon (preferably white or tan)

-a piece of string or raffia

-markers, glitter glue, etc.  (Optional)

2.Get the can ready!

Wrap a piece of paper around your can.  Tape it together in the back, and cut the excess paper.

3.The balloon

Cut the end off of the deflated balloon.  Stretch the balloon over the top of the can.  Try not to have air bubbles.

4.Decorate!  (Optional)

Decorate your paper, using markers, glitter glue, etc.

5.Finishing touch

Tie the raffia or string around the balloon.

And you’re done!

Nanea Mitchell Release Date!

On AG’s website, they have posted the dates for the Nanea debut events!  They will be on August 25-27, 2017, from 9am to 1pm.  You can dress up in a Hawaiian theme, and there will be a Nanea doll drawing!  There will also be a free craft, and a doll drawstring bag giveaway(while supplies last).

It sounds like fun!

AGP NY News!

Hey everyone!

Remember when there was the article about AG Place in New York making “the store of the future” with spa services for dolls and girls, as well as many other services and upgrades?  They said they were going to move the store.  On americangirl.com, in the store section, it said that the New York store was moving to Rockefeller Plaza in November!

I wonder if they will upgrade the store when they move it?  Or wait a little?
